About
I was a Psychology faculty member at UIC for 31 years, serving as director of three doctoral programs and as department chair. I also was a part-time faculty member of Disability and Human Development where my community intervention and research were based. I obtained external research support each year and was humbled to have my research contributions recognized by awards from the Society for Community Research and Action, the American Psychological Association, and the Midwestern Psychological Association.
I have served on the UIC SUAA chapter Board od Directors since about 2016 and have been president since 2021. I enjoy being connected to UIC via UIC SUAA and working to protect our pensions, healthcare, and other benefits.
