Revised Chapter Dues
Chapter members approved a reduction in the annual dues for the UIC SUAA chapter from $11 to $8 per year, retroactive to March 2020. The approval took place by way of online balloting in conjunction with the Annual Assembly. This action follows an increase in membership dues by SUAA, the parent organization, from $33 to $39 per year, effective Jan. 1, 2020. To diminish the impact of this increase on annual dues, the UIC SUAA Board voted to reduce its chapter dues by cutting expenses and use of reserves, if necessary. This makes the total dues $47 per year. The chapter retains its unique offer of a combined membership at $86 per year for a member and spouse/partner.
