UIC SUAA

The UIC chapter of the State Universities Annuitants Association (SUAA) mission is to preserve and protect a strong public pension system and healthcare for all UIC SURS members – annuitants as well as employees.

SUAA keeps a close eye on pending legislative action and lobbies in Springfield to be sure our views are heard. It informs its members of any threats to its pensions or benefits through a newsletter, emails, and events held at UIC.

Membership is open to all SURS members, including current employees, retired individuals, their spouses, and their survivors who will or are receiving benefits from the State Universities Retirement System.
